Weekend of Bliss

I'm not really sure how else to put it. The weekend held more happiness for me than I've allowed myself in years. In fact...I actually cried tears of..Joy? I don't think I've ever done that. EVER. Really.

Why so blissful? Simple really.

I opened up my heart finally and great things happened.

Our family Christmas dinner was lovely. I made a point to be there early to help my sister since it's allot of work for one person. We blazed through the to-do list while catching up. The vibe was so positive and happy...in fact everyone one caught that vibe who walked in. We have had tense holidays dinners more so than not but this year was great. I made a point to talk to everyone and listen to what was happening in their lives.

I drove home with a happy heart, belly..and a sugar coma from hell. Sunday I managed a small workout and then headed to my friend Alicia's house. That girl.....so wonderful and giving. She gifted me with something beyond my wildest expectations. I felt the need to pay it forward somehow. That night I dug out that last of my "Holiday homeless gifts" aka a sweatshirt/pants and gloves..all new. I gifted a gentlemen on the corner who looked like he was chilled to the bone. The smile he gave me was the best gift of all.

Upon arriving at home, I discovered I had won a massage online:)

Monday I headed to San Antonio to see my dad and attend a Choir reunion I organized. I'll be honest, I was pretty nervous about going . There were a few folks I invited who aren't my biggest fans or is that all in my mind? Who knows...

What I do know is that...90% of people invited came. We had a fabulous time reminiscing over choir days, shenanigans and current days. People I had not seen in nearly 20 years came inclusing my choir teacher. Everyone thanked me for setting it up and my heart was so full that it felt like it might burst. Doing this for everyone brought me joy!

Then, I checked my Facebook. Holy Crap..I won a gift from Endless Beauty. Pretty awesome!

Some really cool things going on right now. More to come because I'm creating it.

I'm really happy for you about things that have been going on.

You deserve to be happy, because you are such a warm and human person and I hope the things you are feeling now continue to happen for you.

Keep on being you, because you are truly beautiful.

:-) :-).
