It's something I've been working on since Leading Change Mastery started. We have to meditate 5x a week and it's NOT easy. Wait..it's easy to do but not easy to make myself do. The thing is, it REALLY helps me calm the F down.
Through my meditations I'm able to focus better and deal with stressful situations. Weird. Ha! Guess this shit really does work.
The class is going well but I can never go back to a comfortable level of ignorance. Once that door has been opened you must go through it. I have much more responsibility to myself and those who know me now. I know this sounds all wonkysillycrazy. It's kinda like Landmark Forum, so I have been told. Regardless of what anyone thinks, I feel changed forever.
It has me making plans for my future...
I want to find a way to make some income in the music industry. I LOVE BalconyTV but have accepted that it will always be non-profit. Through this amazing show I have learned about the industry, learned how to book bands, made contacts, net worked my arse off, talking my way into festivals and then delivered well beyond what I thought we would.
Through this experience one thing is clear as a bell, I Love MUSIC. IT'S MY DESTINY TO BE INVOLVED WITH MUSIC IN SOME WAY FOREVER. It makes me happy and fulfilled. I sing loudly in my apt, car and office everyday. EVERYDAY. I recently got to sing with a great band which ignited a desire to perform again.
So how can I do it? I'm not sure. I'll keep banging on every door that comes my way until one opens. One will ya know? IT just takes perseverance and talent, luckily I have both. :D
Jump and the net shall appear...

I'm sure you'll do it.
If I come up with any ideas I'll let you know.
Take care and best wishes.

Hey Girl, your post made me think of two things.
1. I had a friend who once described it this way: "Everyone is born with a shovel and we start digging. Every once in a great while one person stops and looks up out of the hole and sees the light. They climb out of the hole and their shovel disappears. The problem is all the others are still down there digging."
2. Have you ever considered going to the Hoffman Process? From what you've told me about your relationship with your folks and with yourself, it might be something to consider. I did it in 2010 and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I left there and for the first time I actually loved myself.
