Sugarless Saturday

Well I did pretty well for day 1 of strict paleo/zone. I possibly ate a bit too much fruit and/or almond butter but it will take time. This girl is just going for it!

This morning I woke early and decided to do 30 min of sprint intervals before the 8am Kettle Bell class. My body was NOT having it. Generally working out in a fasted state is no problem but today I felt dizzy and icky. I finished my sprint work and SHOVED steamed butternut squash and egg whites down my throat. I'm not sure if I took a breathe during breakfast. Saturday is typically my cheat day but no more.....not today!

Good Grief--I was so HUNGRY!!!!!!

I felt much better after food and headed out for my 8am CFC KB class. To be honest, I had second(maybe third) thoughts about going since I was a bit "off" today but sucked it up and attended. It was a TOUGH class!

The workout was:

50 push press
50 American swings
100 m Lunge with KB
35 pp
35 American S
100m Lunges
20 PP
20AS
100 Lunges
time 16:21?

THEN a nice 400 m jaunt aka Farmers Walk with duel bells. Frigging ouch! My shoulders were
KILLING ME from Thurs, my wrists were bruised from Tuesday....I.Hurt.All.Over.

In a really good sadistic way:)

Let me just add that hauling bags of groceries on my way home felt like another frigging Farmers Walk.

I'm currently roasting 2 batches of goodness aka, Asparagus, Red/Green peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, Brussel sprouts, Brocc and Garlic. Mmmmmmmm yum! I need to work on my meat repertoire as fish and chicken is all I know:(. I want buffalo tonight!

Thank you to Mel,Erika,Lisa, and Georgia....always so supportive!!!!

I will not give up...I will kick the shit out of this challenge!

You're capable of a lot, but the main thing is not to be hard on yourself for anything.

As long as you're patient and give yourself some slack, you'll be fine.

There's no reason why you can't do this, it's just a matter of taking it a day at a time and using all the little positives to keep you going.

GODO LUCK, you CAN do this.

:-) :-).
