Disclaimer:Today I am just in a shitty mood:(
It must be THAT time or something because even with eating squeaky clean and tough workouts my body is seriously.....LARGE MARGE!!!!!. I mean uncomfortableI'mgoingtogocrynowfluffy. boo hoo...
WTF?!?!?!!?!?
Need to just keep my eye on the prize and muster through. It WILL work right? There is no reason why my body shouldn't respond like all the others. I almost wanted to put stevia in my coffee but told myself...no and moved on.
Today's workout was the kind you see and it makes you breathe deeply while cursing. I KNEW it would be delightfully painful....
WOD~
3 Rds of "Carey" aka Badass!
30 Full Snatch
30 Wall Ball
I Rx'd out on round 3. Seriously, when Wall Ball feels like a "break" then it's a tough ass workout. I'm already walking funny :) I love crossfit and all then pain/triumph it brings.
Come on body.....lean out.....please?

Hang in there, Barbara! There's a reason Melissa Urban recommends a full 30 days -- it takes a while for your body to give it up.
You can do it! Nice job saying "no" to the Stevia. Stay strong, sister. Your will is tougher than any craving.
And don't be surprised if as your body detoxes from the absence of sugar, chemicals, etc., you have some emotional swings, too. Lots of hormonal stuff happens when you change your diet... just do your best to weather it. Cry if you need to. Shout and rage and scream and laugh and dance and get it out.
But do not cave into the sugar monster.
You can beat the sugar monster!
Thanks Mel~
Yep, it must bge a combo of monthly hormones/detox and sheer frustration but I am not a quitter.
The hardest thing will be my brunch this sat, where I will eat/drink poorly but as I told Crystal...it's Zone/Paleo until Jan or beyond after that bump.
Fruit tastes WAY better than candy crap!
Treat yourself on your birthday -- and it's a TREAT not a CHEAT, remember that! -- and then move on. Enjoy, indulge, celebrate!
I realized this weekend that three weeks is my mental limit for "no-cheat," then I really start itching and need a small indulgence. I was kinda being hard on myself for giving in at the 3-week mark, when I realized this: I used to eat tortilla chips and salsa EVERY week. Now I eat about half as many MAYBE every three weeks. That's huge progress.
You've got this! And I recommend that you think "eat clean until January," but build in a few treats so you're HAPPY, as well as healthy.
I just voted for you and noticed you're 3rd in your age group, congratulations.
Basically I'm going to say, GET OVER YOURSELF.
It will work and you'll be fine. Stop overcomplicating it emotionally. Give it a few weeks and you'll probably see what you want to happen, happening.
Good luck, and stop being a Ms Crankypants yeah :-p :-p.
