I just stick to good old tap water. Might not be 100% pure, but at least you know what your getting.
Besides you cna always buy filters as well. Just don't go for the granular ones, as they allow, impurities to eventually sluice through.
Apparently Carbon Block are better. They act I believe in a similar way to Cat litter, and trap impurities or neutralize them, one or the other from memory.
I'm glad things are okay for you at the moment.
