Vlogging

I wanna start...so how do I being?

I guess I need a computer camera or some sort of video camera???
Advice on affordable options please...

Tanks!

OH..Just saw "Burn After Reading"..It's a Cohen Brothers film which means odd, funny and different. One thing I can always appreciate from their films is a unique quality that seems to have escaped so many of the newer films these days. Imagination is still alive and well......Thank God!

Gotta get up early to do weights/walk with Ray Ray:)

I'd love to know about the vlogging thing too! Seems everyone's going that way these days. :)

I definitely enjoyed Burn After Reading...they're movies are always good. I could watch Fargo a million times over!

You can start right now without a web cam. Take the videos using your digital camera and then edit them with Windows Movies Maker. That's a free program that comes with all PCs. Then you just upload the movie to your blog with Blogger. If you like it, then invest in a good web cam and more sophisticated video software.

It's really very easy. If you need any help let me know and I'll walk you through it.

You might even be able to use a webcam. My web cam was relatively cheap ($50 or so). I know it can take video, but I don't really mess around with it.

Hmmm my dig camera doesn't seem to do anything but stills...??? It is a real cheap one and I still have not purchased a card for it..yep, stuck in the older days of dig. cameras:)

I just use my digital camera. It has a lot of storage for pix or vids. Then I upload it to youtube, although even a short 2minute video takes about an hour to upload.

I feel like a dork doing it, but it is definitely a change...

I was thinking about doing more vlogging over on my trail running site. I stopped cuz I felt like a dork. I guess I should just get over it.

I just use my regular digital camera to take the video and upload it.

You can get a decent setup for about $100 if you want to buy new stuff.
